On the morning of December 4th Comrade Pierre died after an accident in the Parisian metro at the 2nd of December. Comrade Pierre was founder and an important Comrade for he Maoist Communist Party of France (PCM).
The Comrades of the PCM, who fought side by side with the Comrades of the FRG, Austria, Sweden and other countries in the struggles against the G20 this year, suffered a heavy lost with this death. Our full sympathies are with the comrades, which we expect to be struggling even more determined and strong, as they write themselves in their declaration: “But thanks to what he passed to the younger generations, we have gained hope, strength, determination and an example of what it means to be an authentic communist leader, a Maoist leader: never to let go, always to be on the side of the people and the working class, to be among the masses like a fish in the water, always seeking to improve by knowing how get back to the cause when necessary, to be firm on the principles.”
The Comrades write about Comrade Pierre: “His revolutionary commitment was consistent, full and complete.” where they also point out that he took part in strikes, supported struggles of migrant workers and also used to be “going around the neighbourhood at night to know the day to day problems of neighbours – he was there, always there, tireless, sedulous.”
Chairman Mao Tse-Tung states on this: “We Communists must be able to integrate ourselves with the masses in all things. If our Party members spend their whole lives sitting indoors and never go out to face the world and brave the storm, what good will they be to the Chinese people? None at all, and we do not need such people as Party members. We Communists ought to face the world and brave the storm the great world of mass struggle and the mighty storm of mass struggle.”
In this sense, we stand by the side of our comrades in France and send our condolences.
