This year’s LLL demonstration has clearly shown that there is a new generation of young people who are approaching the cause of the proletariat, many of whom sincerely want to fight against exploitation and oppression. Quite a few of them even want to contribute to the reconstitution of the Communist Party of Germany. This is a very positive development and a good basis for Maoists to intensify their theoretical and practical activities.
As the Red League, together with Partizan, we began the LLL weekend with a joint event on the occasion of the Week of Martyrs of the Party and Revolution proclaimed by the TKP/ML, at which, among other things, a video by Partizan about current world events was presented. Following the event, a joint photo was taken in solidarity with our comrade Alex, who is on trial in France for having resolutely supported the armed struggle in Palestine in a speech during a demonstration last year. His trial took place today, and in solidarity with our comrade, we joined the international campaign, which included actions in Finland and Spain, among other places.
At the demonstration on January 11, together with Partizan, we clearly expressed our solidarity with the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the People’s War it is waging, and commemorated its General Secretary, Comrade Basavaraj, who was murdered last year. As part of its campaign of encirclement and annihilation under the title “Operation Kagaar,” the Indian reaction killed over 400 people last year and attempted to completely smash the People’s War in India, among other things with the help of traitors. Together with our international comrades from Holland, Norway, Poland, Austria, and Russia, we closed ranks with the CPI (Maoist) on this day, which insists on armed struggle despite the difficult situation, and thus expressed our principled position.
At the same time, under the slogans “Yankees Go Home!”, “Down with the aggression against Venezuela!” and “Strengthen the anti-imperialist front!”, the aggression of US imperialism against the peoples of Latin America in general and Venezuela in particular was denounced. Slogans and speeches also commemorated the heroic struggle of the people in Brazil and the League of Poor Peasants.
