In the following we want to give a short brief on some recent actions (suspected) carried out by the People´s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoists) [CPI(Maoists)], in the ongoing People´s War.
On July 10, two commandos of Odisha Police's Special Operations Group (SOG) got wounded during an encounter between security forces of the old Indian state and suspected combatants of the PLGA in Kandhamal district, in the state of Odisha. There are no reports of any losses on the side of the Revolutionary Forces. Further reliable details about the battle are unfortunately not known. 1
On July 12, a person were detained by suspected forces of the PLGA and later shot. The bourgeois media have not yet announced the reasons for the execution of the subject, but it can be assumed that it has been a police informant. 2
On July 14, a bomb-sniffing dog triggered the explosion of an improvised explosive device (IED) in Jharkhand´s Gumla-District, which the PLGA suspected had been planted. The Detonation killed the Dog and wounded the handler of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBra) of the Cebtral Reserve Police Forces (CRPF). 3
