In the last few days, several actions were again carried out by the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) [CPI(Maoist)] against the old Indian state, in the ongoing and invincible people's war.
On January 02, a member of the reactionary Special Task Forces were injured during an encounter between suspected combatants of the PLGA and security forces of the old Indian State. According to the bourgeois news agency “the print”:“The encounter broke out early morning in Devdongar forest area under Mainpur police station limits, located over 200 km from the state capital Raipur, when the STF was out on an anti-Maoist operation, he said. […] When one of the patrolling teams was advancing through a hill, it came under fire from a group of armed Naxals that led to the encounter, he said. “1After a close encounter, the PLGA forces were able to retreat without any losses.
On December 31, A commando of the Central reserve Police Forces (CRPF) special warfare unit CoBRA was killed in an encounter with suspected PLGA-Forces. “The gunfight took place in Palachalma forest under Kistaram police station limits when a team of the 208th battalion of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) was out on an anti-Naxal operation, Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma told PTI. […] When the patrolling team was cordoning off the forest, located over 450 kilometres from here, an exchange of fire took place, he said.“2 During the exchange of fire one of the CoBRA-Forces were killed, while the Maosits managed again to retreat without any losses.
On December 29, a police informer were killed in West Singhbhum district, Jharkhand. “After killing the man, the Naxals left behind a pamphlet near his body saying that he had paid the price of being a police informer.” 3
On December 22, suspected combatants of the PLGA attacked a stone crushing plant in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. According to the authorities of the old Indian State around a dozen of armed Maoists rushed to the site and asked the workers to to stop the work before setting ablaze two vehicles and a machine. 4
On December 21, an assistant constable of the District Reserve Guard (DRG) was injured on due the blast of an IED, triggered y suspected Maoists inChhattisgarh’s Dantewada district. “The incident took place around 8.30 a.m. when a joint team of various security forces was out on a road security operation near Bodli camp […] About 650 metres away from the camp, Naxals hiding in a forest triggered an IED blast in which an assistant constable received minor splinter injuries […]”5 Following the incident, the reaction launched a search and destroy operation in the area, during which they were only able to detect a few more IEDs.
