The Red Guards Austin, Texas, are holding a campaign to boycott the electoral sham and published a long statement on September 19 stating its position. Activities were being coordinated across the city. Elections will be held throughout the country for the Congress and the Executive in the states. In Austin, it will be held in the end of October and early November.
The boycott campaign is going on with the slogans Elections, NO! Revolution, YES! and Salvo el poder todo es illusion [Except for Power, all is illusion!] and Asaltar los cielos con la fuerza del fusil [Assault the heavens with the power of the gun] They also state the need for a Maoist Communist Party and the prospect of armed struggle as the only way to achieve the revolution.
One of the activities of the campaign was held in Austin on October 1. The Maoists also joined the activities with the celebration of the 69th anniversary of the triumph of the Great Chinese Revolution. Balloons with slogans against the elections and portraits of Chairman Mao were launched. A banner with the slogan “Elections, NO! Revolution, YES!” was held by the Maoists, who covered their faces with red scarves; red flags were also used.

“We have all taken the firm position of the boycott of the bourgeois elections, and in doing so we have taken up the task of making revolution against them.” Says their statement.
Also in a speech they state “Let us then insist on the revolutionary road of Chairman Mao and the universal law of revolutionary violence!”
Other Red Guards in the US also took position regarding the Bourgeois Elections as one can seen by Red Guards Kansas city and Red Guards Pittsburg.
