We hereby report on some developments in the political situation and the class struggle in the various Nordic Countries.
Norway
In Norway Kampkomiteen (The Struggle Committee) reports that in Kristiansand, a march on occasion of the day of the Sámi People on the 6. of February. There were speeches denounced Norwegian Imperialism and honored the heroism of the Sámi People. In the end a cultural event was held, with Sámi music and traditional Sámi food. Even though the weather was rough, by South Norwegian standards, the spirit was held high and there was enthusiasm towards doing the march next year again.
Kampkomiteen furthermore reports that on the 30. of January a manifestation to support the struggle of the poor peasants in Brazil was held.
Denmark
A banner was seen at Husum station, with the text “APPLY MAOISM! CRUSH IMPERIALISM!”
