A manifestation was held to show solidarity with the revolutionary peasant movement in Brazil, was held at a square in central Tampere. The manifestation also called for the freedom for Ezequiel, Luis Carlos, Estefane and Ricardo, who have been imprisoned by the old Brazilian State.
Further proletarian revolutionaries in Turku and Tampere have hanged posters and in Tampere a painting was made, on the occation of the 100 year for the founding of the Communist Party of China.
Norway
An article on Tjen Folket describes how a comissioned painting made on Danmarksplass in Bergen depicting a jewish man supporting the struggle of the Palestinian people, was removed after the municipal government had it removed. This shows the collusion of Norwegian imperialism and Israel, and that the Norwegian state will not allow any dissent within its borders in support of Palestinian national liberation.
