Following the call for the International Day of Action in support of the People's War in India, a rally took place in front of the Indian Embassy in Berlin on July 9. Short speeches were held explaining the situation in India and calling for support for the People's War and the struggles of political prisoners. The call for the Day of Action was also read out. In the slogans and speeches, the People's War led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) was repeatedly held up as the only way for the Indian people to end exploitation and oppression and defeat imperialism. Passersby were interested in the rally, expressing their support from passing cars and some spontaneously joining the rally.
