The incident occurred around 11 am in the hills near the villages of Rajadera and Ramgar. No casualties among red fighters were reported.
In another action by a squad of the Maoist EGPL, 9 trucks carrying bauxite ore were destroyed, near the bauxite mines in Bagdu in the district of Lohardaga where the Maoists had called a bandh (general strike)."
