Also this week, the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) has carried out several actions in the ongoing election boycott campaign and inflicted heavy losses to the old Indian state.
- On the night of Tuesday, the 2nd of April to Wednesday,the 3rd of April, several posters were installed by the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army in the small town of Bundu, Ranchi district, in the heart of Jharkand. Among other things,on the posters were called upon to oppose and prevent landfilling by the Indian state. In Indiathere has been a law since December 2013, that allows the state or federal governments to confiscate land from peasants and transfer it to large corporations to promote industrialization.
- On Thursday, the 4th of April, PLGA combatants ambushed a battalion of Indian border troops. The incident occurred in the state of Chhattisgarh's in the Kanker district. In the attack, four soldiers were shot and two others seriously wounded.
- The next morning, Friday, the 5th of April, there was another attack on a unit of the Central Reserve Police in the Dhamtari district, also in Chhattisgarh. One security officer was killed and another injured.
All these actions show successes, so a helicopter pilot refused to fly a BJP member to a electio campaign event in the state of Bastar.
