On the 9th of November in both Minas Gerais and Rondônia celebrations on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution took place. Nothern Minas Gerais and Rondônia are both areas that can be considered to be important strongholds of the struggle of the poor peasants of Brazil for land. Hence participation by the masses, as well as the attendance of delegations of democratic and revolutionary organisations, was great.

Since Friday, every day thousands of Philippine people took to the streets protesting the role US imperialism plays in their exploitation and oppression. Denouncing US imperialism’s influence and plans for their country, numerous marches and actions we carried out, often confronting the police, on occasion of Trump's visit to the Philippines coinciding with ASEAN Summit that ended today.

The comrades of the FDLP-EC (Frente de Defensa de Luchas del Pueblo del Ecuador - Front in Defence of the Ecuadorian People's Struggles) published a declaration on the occasion of the 100^th anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution. They also made a campaign to mobilise the masses.

In the light of the 100th anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution an international celebration in Austria took place, in which more than 100 revolutionaries, political activists and communists participated with great enthusiasm. Many speeches and international cultural contributions illustrated that the spirit and the principles of the October Revolution did not lost validity, but are taken up strongly today, in the struggle of the oppressed and exploited around the world, with the peoples war at its top.

With several participants from Latin America and Europe, which presented speeches and cultural contributions, as well as an international theater, which brought the October Revolution alive on the stage, these festive event got an great example of Internationalism. With pleasure and liveliness this anniversary got celebrated, with the impetus to take up the revolutionary way, to support with all one‘s strength the constitution of Communist Parties an to take the tasks with the revolution sets today. Thereby at the center stood the powerful slogan of Lenin „Everything is deception, except for the power!“.

The celebration showed that progressive parts of the masses spent much force and energy to take this event as an mighty expression of their struggle. The cultural contributions stretches from an Hip-Hop interlude, over to a spoken word presentation, a workers choir up to an revolutionary theater.

The successful festive event was an important victory for the revolutionary forces. It gave strength and confidence to master the upcoming tasks with new drive and to make an contribution for the development of the new wave of World Proletarian Revolution, for the final smash of the imperialist word system, in the spirit of internationalism.

In the spirit of the Great Socialist October Revolution's impact on the international proletariat comrades of the Partizan Youth Initiative / Marxist-Leninist-Maoist organized a symposium with international participation and comrades of at least five different countries attending. The two days lasting event featured several exposés and discussions concerning the teachings of the October Revolution and the application of what's to be learned.

On the 9^th of November an event took place in Belo Horizonte in Minas Gerais for the 100^th anniversary of the Great Socialist October Revolution. The Revolutionary Front in Defence of the People’s Rights (Frente Revolucionária de Defesa dos Direitos do Povo (FRDDP)) invited for this event, other organisations like the Popular Womens Movement (Movimento Feminino Popular (MFP)), the Popular Revolutionary Student Movement (Movimento Estudantil Popular Revolucionário (MEPR)), the League of Poor Peasants (Liga dos Camponeses Pobres (LCP)), the Workersleague (Liga Operária) and the Red Unity - League of the Revolutionary Youth (Unidade Vermelha - Liga da Juventude Revolucionária (UV-LJR)) took part.
