Despite the claims of the reaction, there is no ceasefire in the People's War in India - There are always new actions of the PLGA under the leadership of the CPI(Maoist). The old Indian state reacts as always with terror against the people.
On Saturday, April 18, the PLGA rushed a construction side in Chhattisgarh's Rajnandgaon-District and set fire to seven vehicles. The combatants left some leaflets, warning the constructor not to continue the work.
On April 16, an assistant police constable was shot in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. The deceased man was associated with Salwa Judum, a reactionary militia, deployed to fight People´s War in the past.
On April, 09, a fierce encounter took place between members of the PLGA and Central Reserve Police Forces. The incident took place in Jharkhand´s West Singhbhum district. When the CRPF battalion 60 had started an anti-insurgency operation they got ambushed by a unit of the PLGA - there no further information.
The old Indian state is not able to defeat the People´s War and they know it. Therefor they try to terrorize the people to stop the support for the CPI(Maoist). But the blood will not drown the revolution, but water it.
On April 17, the security forces carried out a Fake Encounter in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district. The incident took place around 4 am near Pusgudi village under Modakpal police station area when a team of CRPF's 229th battalion was out on an area domination operation they opened the fire on an unarmed group of villagers, killing one and wounding another. According to eye witnesses there were no Maoists in the area. It can be assumed that further alleged successes against the PLGA are also fake encounters. But there is no clear evidence for this yet.
