Five members of the Indian occupation forces were killed in an encounter at Handwara in Kupwara in north Kashmir on Sunday.
The first contact and encounter took already place on Saturday night in Chanjimula village at 3.45pm. After a short exchange of fire the resistance fighters began to retreat to a near forest, to prevent this the troops of the reaction moved forward and took the position under barrage. After a long lasting battle reinforcements of the old Indian state arrived and enclosed the area. Despite this, the Kashmiri fighters managed to retreat unnoticed. As the response searched the area, they found the bodies of five security personnel, a high ranked Army Colonel, as a Major, two Central Reserve Police Forces and a Sub Inspector of the Jammu and Kashmir police forces, several further were wounded.
The reaction claims to have also killed two Kashmiri combatants. They also blame the bad weather for their defeat. But it will probably be less about the weather than about the fact that the peoples of the world will fight until they are free.
