Two members of the Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (Cafgu) were seriously wounded in an attack by suspected members of the New People’s Army on the Philippines.
The incident occurred on June 26, when an army detachment were attacked in the city of Iligan,Kalilangan in Lanao del Norte region on Mindanao island.
This was the second attack on the reactionary armed forces in Iligan in one month. On May 28,a soldier was wounded in another attack on military forces in Iligan.
