So called “Islamists” carried out two attacks with explosives on Saturday, 20.06, in southern and central Somalia, killing at least seven soldiers.
In the first attack the Insurgents drove a vehicle loaded with explosives in to a military checkpoint in Bacadweyn town in central Somalia's Galmudug state, killing three soldiers and themselves, two further soldiers were wounded.
In the second attack two bombs were planted in front of the house of a military official in the town of Wanlaweyn, north-west of the capital Mogadishu, making an ambush. The first blast drove the guards and residents out of the house, than the second bomb were detonated and killed three targets.
No group or organization reclaimed responsibility for these actions till yet.
These so-called “Islamists” are of course not progressive forces, there are no revolutionaries or either communists. But they fight imperialism, the greatest disease of the peoples of the world. The main contradiction is between imperialism and oppressed nations.
