During protests against the government fierce fights between the masses and security forces took place in the city of Bamako, the capitol of Mali.
At Saturday the second day in row thousands of people gathered to the streets of Bamako to protest against the government. Protesters erected barricades, set them to fire, blocking main roads and hurled stones at the reactionary security forces.
On Friday a large crowd protested in front of the parliament and attacked the building, the national guard used tear gas and live ammunition to disperse the crowd. Later masses stormed and occupied the national broadcaster “Office De la Radiodiffusion Télévision du Mali” (ORTM).
During the protests one person were killed by police forces and dozens were wounded.
