In the following we want to give a short overview of the recent actions against the reactionary Kenyan state.
On July 17, a boarder police outpost in the province of Garissa were attacked, one officer were killed and three further were wounded. „Witnesses say the attack was preceded by loud explosions followed by heavy gunfire at the Yumbis Rural Border Patrol Unit police camp.“ The attackers also planted an explosive device on the road which hit an armored vehicle of the security forces. There no reports of losses at the side of the rebels.
On July 09, a communication mast were destroyed in the same region. According to local residents a group of 20 armed suspected so called Islamists attacked the mast and also the nearby Korakora police station. In these incident there are also no lossesreported and the search operation initiated by reaction after the attack were unsuccessful.
