Last weekend over 3,000 students took part in a demonstration in Hamburg, which was contrary to what might have been assumed, it was not about the question of "Fridays for Future", but about the defence of militant anti-fascism in Hamburg schools. The trigger was a "revelation campaign" against anti-fascist students, strongly supported by the bourgeois media and initiated by the AfD.
"Left-wing extremists act undisturbed at school" was the headline of the Hamburger Abendblatt, the mouthpiece of the petty bourgeoisie in Hamburg, last Tuesday on the first page in the local section of Hamburg and followed up on page two with the comment "Are Hamburg teachers innocent?". On the website the story was turned into the title story. Also the Mopo followed directly, albeit a little more reservedly.
In few words: Through the denunciation portal “Neutral Schools Hamburg” Hamburg students and teachers are called upon to forward information like contacts, photos, etc. to the AfD about all those who in their view are "left" or "blind on the left eye". Everything under the pretext of maintaining the schools' "neutrality rule" (which is of course a joke in itself in class society). In the context of this platform, informers submitted photos of some stickers a la "Antifa Area", "FCK AFD" or "Antifascist Action" to the Hamburg Ida-Ehre-Schule and in addition a photo of an "A.C.A.B." tag. Quickly googled the name of the organization that is written on the sticker and the appropriate entry in the Verfassungsschutzbericht (report off the Office for the Protection of the Constitution), together with the lie that an entire info wall has been set up for this organization, and finished is the horror story of the AfD about "Antifa Areas" of left-wing extremists at Hamburg schools, about which is reported from Abendblatt to Zeit (popular German newspapers).
Against this clumsy agitation, including the naming of organizations, classes and individuals, great solidarity developed among the students and schools here in the Hanseatic city within a short time, which resulted in more than 3,000 students taking part in the demonstration on Saturday, in solidarity actions taking place at various schools, and in the press tryed to limit the damage (articles have been removed from the web or renamed, distancing and justifications have been published).
But while the powerful answer once more led to the same public discussion "what role the (bourgeois) media play and what responsibility they have" etc., it remains unnoticed why the Office for the Protection of the Constitution is released by the state against anti-fascist students, and how the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the fascists obviously have a common interest in knowing what is going on at our schools. Not surprisingly in this connection also is that yesterday cops made the attempt to intimidate 50 students at the Rudolf Steiner School in Ottensen and even initiated several lawsuits because they spontaneously came together under the slogans "Entire Hamburg hates the AfD" and "AfD out of schools" to prevent AfD official Walczak from entering the school.
The climax was made by the Hamburg school authority itself, which invited the Hitler Youth fan and AfD faction leader Alexander Wolf to the Helene-Lange Gymnasium for a lecture on "Extremism and its Prevention", where the fascist was then confronted by students and parents.
