On 9th of July on the anti-imperialists around Norway carried out actions in solidarity with the Indian People’s War.

Oslo: a demonstration took place in front of the Indian embassy in Oslo. Speeches were held and powerful slogans were chanted like ”Up the international solidarity!”, ”Long live the struggle for new democracy – we will see Saibaba free!”, ”Struggle against the crisis and repression – emancipation demands revolution!”.

Bergen: activists held red banners and posters on signs with the texts reading ”Support the struggle of the Indian People!” and ”Down with the war against the people!”. Speeches were held and leaflets distributed.

Trondheim: activists from Kampkomiteen marked the international day of action by distributing leaflets in support of the People’s War in India.

Kristiansand: various posters and paintings of slogans around the city have been reported. The slogans read:

Activists from Kampkomiteen has reportedly participated in demonstrations for abortions, on July 2nd, in light of the removal of abortion rights across the USA.

The slogan of the demonstration was: ”Keep the right to abortion all over the world!”.

In Trondheim strong speeches were held on the city square. In the speech people were informed that more than 22000 women die each year due to unsafe undocumented and unsafe abortions in places where abortions are illegal. The importance of international organisation and soidarity was also stressed.

On July 2nd there were also reported similar demonstrations in Bergen, Tromsø and Sandefjord and in Oslo. In Oslo the Kvinnefronten writes that more than 300 people showed up to denounce that 26 states in the US have taken away these basic rights for women.

Finland

In Helsinki, infront of the Turkish Embassy, three posters with slogans have been put up.

The slogans read: "Down with NATO and its counter-revolutionary witch hunt!", "Long live international solidarity!" and "Glory to TKP/ML and People's War in Turkey!".

Comrades from Punalippu has shared a painting that reads "¡Viva la lucha del Pueblo ecuatoriano!" (Eng. "Long live the struggle of the Ecuadorian people!"). The painting was made on the wall of a public sports hall in Kaukajärvi, which is one of Tampere's poorest neighborhoods.

Helsinki: a demonstration infront of the Indian Embassy on July 9th was carried out in support of the People’s War in India for the occasion of the International Day of Action in support of the People’s War in India. There was a speech denouncing imperialism and the counter-revolutionary war against the people waged by the Indian reaction. By the end of the demonstration the following slogans were chanted: ”Long live the People's War in India!”, ”Down with imperialism!” and ”Proletarians and peoples of the world, unite!”.

Tampere: a demonstration was held at the central square on July 9th. A speech was delivered, which described the situation in India and told about the significance of the People's war. At the scene, there were many bypassers and masses spending their free time, a few of whom came to discuss with the demonstrators and expressed sympathies. The following slogans were also chanted: ”Long live the People's War in India!”, ”Down with imperialism!” and ”Proletarians and peoples of the world, unite!”.
