Comrades From Tjen Folket Media reports that Kampkomiteen on October 8th in Kristiansand distributed leaflets against the increse in prices, and aginst that the working class has to pay the burden of the imperialist war and crisis.
Posters were also put up around Kristiansand against the imperialist war and crisis.
Finland
A joint statement between the Anti-Imperialist League and the Communist Workers’ Party has been published by Punalippu. The statement calls for communists to unite against Finnish and Swedish membership of NATO and against the general counter-revolutionary offensive. The decleration ends with the slogans: ”Down with NATO! Long live international solidarity!” and ”Down with the general counter-revolutionary offensive! Long live Marxism!”.
On October 8th in Helsinki around 50 people went to protest against NATO. The demonstration started from Kansalaistor, went through Mannerheimintie and Aleksanterinkatu, ending at Senatintor.
The demonstrators consisted of anti-imperialists as well as more pacifist-leaning forces. The anti-imperialist bloc was clearly on the move, condemning imperialist wars and NATO as a tool of Yankee imperialism, promoting its own imperialism and opposing the revolution. The anti-imperialist bloc also presented a symbol to form an international anti-imperialist front.
Denmark
Socialist Revolution webiste reports on more actions of stickers with the slogan ”boycott the bourgeois elections! Combat and resist!” have been carried out in proletarian neighbourhoods. Stickers were used on reactionary electoral posters in order to spread revolutionary counter-propaganda.
