Comrades of Tjen Folket Media reports on several activities the past few weeks.
On October 27th activists from Kampokiteen went out to distribute leaflets against violence against women and to mobilise for an open meeting and demonstration. The leaflets were distributed on the streets in Trondheim and many supported the leaflets.
On October 26th activists from Kampkomiteen put up posters in Tøyen, Grønland and on the University in Oslo against the war and economic crisis. 160 posters were put op.
In Kristianssand on the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Norway, posters were put up. The posters show a hammer and a sickle and the slogan: ”Reconstitute the Communist Party of Norway!”
In Osolo on October 30th an anti-fascist demonstration was organised infront of the Stortinget after nazis from ”The Nordic Recistance Movement” went through the streets of Oslso. 400 anti-fascists showed up. Multiple speeches were held and after the anti-fascist song Bella Ciao was sung at the demonstration. Activists from Kampkomiteen participated with a megaphone.
Various bourgeois politicians, among the the social democrat Raymond Johansen condemned both demonstrations and promoted pacifism towards fascism.
From the crowd people yelled at Johansen: ”It is you who are a fascist!” and the crowd applauded.
After the event in front of the Storting, people marched down to the Osvald monument at Jernbanetorget. Strong slogans were shouted like "No fascists in our streets!" And “The whole of Oslo hates fascists! -We are all anti-fascists! " during the march. Several passersby stopped along the way and lifted his fist or applauded to show solidarity and support. In front of the moment it was sung "The Day the Nazi died" by SV's anti-fascist choirs where several songs with. The organizers encouraged several appeals for everyone who wanted. It was an emotional atmosphere, but at the same time clear that the emergency preparedness was high. A woman from Congo held a strong appeal, stating that she had been attacked by Nazis once and was unconscious for three days in the hospital.
In Bergen actions against the price increases and the cuts in welfare were organised. On October 29th on Torgallmenningen in Bergen, activists raised a banner with the slogan ”Combat the high prices!” and a handheld poter against the increased prices of food products. Leaflets were distributed to bypassers.
Finland
Comrades of Punalippu reports on anti-imperiailist actions that have taken place in Tampere. In the last few weeks poster against NATO has been spreading throughout the city. The poster have the slogan ”Down with NATO!” and ”Down with imperialist wars!”.
Denmark
In Denmark Comrades of Socialist Revolution reports that an action against the bourgeois parliamentary elections have been carried out. On a wall in a proletarian neighbourhood the slogan: ”You can’t vote away exploitation, boycott the election!” as well as a hammer and sickle was painted.
