In many cities in Greece, big fights against the police developed once again on 06 December. Thousands of people gathered to commemorate Alexis Grigoropoulos, who was shot dead by police 14 years ago when he was only 15 years old. Just one day earlier, 16-year-old Kostas Fragoulis was shot dead by Greek police in Thessaloniki for allegedly stealing 20 euros worth of petrol. Kostas Fragoulis was literally executed by being shot in the head from behind.

Around noon on 06 December, students organised a demonstration in Athens, starting in front of the Akademias University. The students marched in front of the parliament building protesting against the increasing police violence in Greece. In the early evening, the demo went to the Exarchiea neighbourhood of Athens, where Alexis Grigoropoulos was shot dead in 2008. The police accompanied the demo with 4000 forces, some of them heavily armed. In Exarchiea, the police attacked the demonstrators, whereupon they erected burning barricades and attacked the police with Molotov cocktails. The police were repelled by massive resistance and had to leave the neighbourhood. The KKE(μ-λ) and the TKP/ML also took part in the demonstration.

The Greek comrades wrote about the demonstrations and the struggles of 06 December 2022:
"Today, 6 December, the young men and women sent a clear message. Against a system that deprives them of everything, have shown that they will not be intimidated by the murderous repression, but are on the way to fight for their future and their lives."
