In the night of March 26 the residents of the Ribeirão Preto neighborhood in Sao Paulo protest against the lack of water due the Corona-Pandemic.
The masses gathered to the streets and erected a barricade on the Renê Oliva Strang Avenue and set them to fire. The approaching police could not arrest any of the protesters.
The residents of the area are complaining that the water supply in the neighborhood stopped days ago. After the combative protest, the Ribeirão Preto Department of Water and Sewage (Daerp) was forced to mobilize. They announced to have replaced a pump and to have rewired the well.
