NEW POLICE MINING OFFENSIVE AGAINST LA MERCED DE BUENOS AIRES

Today, in the early morning hours, a group of police officers was again present in La Merced de Buenos Aires to support the actions of the mining company Hanrine, contradicting the decision of residents and farmers to oppose the exploitation of mining on their land.
In recent months, both the company and the repressive apparatuses have recruited youth and residents to turn the masses against the masses. This poor strategy is being implemented in a bloody manner. Just today, a resident of the community was attacked (stabbed) by a worker of the mining company.
The peasants and other residents of Buenos Aires have resisted these incidents and have declared that they will not allow this type of aggression to be repeated; furthermore, they have declared all workers and collaborators of the Hanrine company undesirables; that checkpoints will be set up and they will no longer be allowed to move freely in the community.
We must fight and we must resist. We must move the masses and multiply the forms of struggle.
We must fight against the collaborators, the company and the repressive apparatuses that provide security so that the mining company can appropriate the natural resources that belong to the peasant masses.
