In the following we publish an inofficial translation of an article by the Columbian revolutionary website El Comunero - Prensa Popular that was sent to us. The article is about actions in solidarity with the struggle of the Ukranian people.
Death to imperialism! Long live the revolution! - Propaganda in solidarity with the Ukrainian people

On the 28th of March, young people of the revolutionary organisations MESP (Movement of Students at the Service of the People) and LJR (Revolutionary Youth League) organised a day of poster-posting at the University of Antioquia (Medellin) denouncing imperialism and showing solidarity with the struggle of the Ukrainian people. On several walls of the university they pasted posters explaining the current situation and propagandising an internationalist, anti-imperialist, popular and revolutionary position on the matter. We from the community people's press made a photographic record of the activity:

We also asked the young revolutionaries about their position on the current situation in Ukraine, we share here a fragment of what these comrades said:
"We denounce both Russian imperialism and US imperialism and its NATO allies, both are responsible for the war. Russia has clearly unleashed a war of imperialist aggression for the dispute and domination over Ukraine as an oppressed nation. But we also emphasise that US imperialism and its military alliance are not the "good guys" in the story. The posters denounce that the US and the EU have disputed dominance over Ukraine by interfering in its internal politics in order to overthrow pro-Russian governments and place pro-US governments with which to advance a policy hostile to Russia as part of plans to encircle Russia militarily, politically and economically. In this way, US imperialism would have used Ukraine as a spearhead in its inter-imperialist dispute, pushing Russia into a corner. That is why Russia, starting from its imperialist condition and interests, has been forced to open a war of aggression in Ukraine with which the US imperialism manages to isolate and wear it down even more.
We must also see the consequences of the war, which not only directly affect the Ukrainian people with thousands of deaths, destruction and dispossession, but also all the peoples of the world, who, as a result of the war unleashed by imperialism, will have to bear the burden of a new deepening of the crisis in which this decadent system is sinking deeper and deeper. Not only the chain of production and trade of basic foodstuffs produced in Ukraine and Russia, such as wheat, barley, sunflower oil, but also the energy and transport costs that affect the prices of absolutely everything, due to the importance of Russia and Ukraine in terms of gas and oil production, will be directly affected. Thus, the effects of the war that the imperialists have unleashed, worsened by the economic blockades imposed by the USA, are going to be passed on to the peoples of the world. Because of this, it is estimated that there will be up to 13 million more people suffering from hunger worldwide.
Thus, it is explained that the present war is a product of imperialism that massacres the peoples in order to fight for territories, resources and labour. Therefore, solidarity is raised to the Ukrainian people who are rising up in resistance against the invasion of Russian imperialism and it is called to form popular forces independent from the lackey government of the USA to raise this resistance struggle to a real anti-imperialist and not only anti-Russian struggle. Likewise, it calls upon all the peoples of the world that the greatest solidarity is to stand up against imperialism, to refute the lies with which they want to make us support our own oppressors and to raise the struggle against the misery they impose on us, against the costs of their wars and crises, to turn the game against them and to turn all their excesses into their doom when the peoples of the world rise up in revolution".
