Oaxaca, Mexico. The Corriente del Pueblo Sol Rojo celebrated its 6th anniversary and 15 years of living with the people, working with the people and struggling with the people. The venue was the City of Resistance in Oaxaca, one of the entities where the organisation is most present. The 6th/15th anniversary of the Corriente del Pueblo Sol Rojo was also held in the context of the 129th birthday of Chairman Mao Tse Tung and was an important political-cultural event attended by hundreds of people. There were performances of poetry and revolutionary songs, as well as an exhibition of plastic art where one could admire the technique, aesthetics and class content of the various works. Of course, the whole event was accompanied by quotations from Chairman Mao, as well as the sale and distribution of books, leaflets, newspapers and other materials of the popular and democratic press. Comrade Yolanda Ruiz, spokesperson of the organisation, pointed out that "... these years of organisation and class struggle are only the beginning of a bright future that the class and people of Mexico must go through, we will row against the current, we will fight the bureaucratic bourgeoisie and its liberal ideology that tries to blind the people with caudillismo, corporativism, militarism and opportunism.... this popular current will be the popular front tomorrow and then we will take our destiny into our own hands. " The speaker and the other speakers stressed the defence of Maoism as the scientific ideology of the proletariat, the new, third and higher stage of Marxism.
