The following is a short overview of the declarations by comrades for the 8th of march.
In Chile, the Popular Revolutionary Student Front (FERP) reaffirmed its class character and origin, the student movement underscores its commitment to "develop the Popular Female Movement" in the country.
"If the revolutionaries do not mobilize, politicize and organize women, the opportunists and corporations of the old state will do so,"; "We must strive to direct the women's movement to emancipation of the women, a struggle that the opportunism and revisionism of bourgeois and petty-bourgeois feminism stagnate in electoral farce or bureaucratic protocols."

Long live the 25th anniversary of Chairman Gonzalo’s speech from the 24th of September 1992
We are here as children of the people and we are fighting in these trenches, they are also trenches of combat, and we do it because we are Communists! Because here we are defending the interests of the people, the principles of the Party, and the People’s War. That is what we do, we are doing it and will continue to do so!

This years 24th of September marks the 25th anniversary of the grand speech held by the Chairman of the Communist Party of Peru, Chairman Gonzalo. Planning to undermine his part as great leadership of the heroic People’s War in Peru and his enormous international significance for the struggling peoples of the world he was presented, imprisoned in a cage, in front of the world press on the 24th of September 1992, only twelve days after his arrest. Despite all attempts to humiliate him, Chairman Gonzalo under these circumstances held a speech of not only historical significance but whose validity has been proven ever since with each day of struggle by the communists.
Chaiman Gonzalo’s speech shines victorious and powerful before the world as a combat weapon
During his speech Chairman Gonzalo spoke not to the Peruvian or international press nor did he direct any pleading appeals to Fujimori’s Regime, instead he directly and decisively addressed the Peruvian masses, the militants of the Communist Party and the whole International Communist Movement, he addressed us. In only a few words of his speech he got to the heard of the historical developments of the struggles in Peru and the world, summarized the analysis of the communists regarding the international situation and outlined the upcoming tasks for the communists, our tasks. Every hour, every day and every year since made his analysis and the immediate necessity of putting the outlined tasks into practice further clear.
Chairman Gonzalo was the one to define Maoism as the highest stage of Marxism. He is the one that armed the proletariat with its true and correct understanding of its greatest weapon, Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, principally Maoism, and who advanced its general development by means of his universally valid contributions. And as Chairman of the Communist Party of Peru he has shown us the applicability of this weapon in the practice of the People’s War in Peru. It is not an opinion nor a mere view that Chairman Gonzalo is the greatest living Marxist-Leninist-Maoist in the world but a fact.
His works are not limited to any specific country, any specific continent, any specific people. For us communists in the imperialist countries far from the countries of Latin America the slogan “Learn from Chairman Gonzalo” is absolutely true if we want communism to become reality. Today we can clearly see how through his contributions and under his banner the communist forces in the world gather and reorganize to fulfil their role. Only through incarnating Marxism-Leninism-Maoism with the contributions of Chaiman Gonzalo, through upholding, defending and applying it, we will be able to become part of this mighty force and march over all obstacles in our way.
Different from those, who only talk about the contributions of Chairman Gonzalo but meanwhile try to reduce them into empty promises and hollow phrases, his contribution have to become a vivid force in our struggles. The demagogues stylizing Chairman Gonzalo into an Icon, instead of implementing his contributions, do so in the ridiculous attempt to turn red flags against red flags. And, as well as those before them, they will be swept onto the shambles of history when their time has come. For us, the contributions of the PCP and their Chairman are no abstract theoretical contributions from a distant past but instructions and weapons in the struggles. Hence we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the speech of the Chairman held on the 24th of September 1992 as well as the Day of Heroism in celebration of which a great declaration was published in the last year (on occasion of its 30th anniversary) by Marxist-Leninist-Maoist Parties and organisations.
For 25 years now Chairman Gonzalo is imprisoned in the subterranean maximum security prison below the Callao naval base. He never capitulated. His speech – held under the most difficult circumstances – shines victorious and powerful until today as a combat weapon.
“Finally now, listen to this. As we see in the world, Maoism is marching unstoppably to lead the new wave of proletarian world revolution. Listen well and understand! Those who have ears, use them. Those who have understanding – and we all have it – use it! Enough of this nonsense. Enough of these obscurities! Let us understand that! What is unfolding in the world? What do we need? We need Maoism to be incarnated, and it is being incarnated, and it shall guide and command this new great wave of the proletarian world revolution that is coming by means of generating Communist Parties.”

Several organisations and parties all over the world executed actions for the international day of action in defence of the life and health of chairman Gonzalo, initiated by the comrades of the Communist Party of Brazil – Red Faction.
In Ecuador wall painting was created.
In Chile a wall painting was created as well.
In Sweden a wall painting was created, and the comrades write: “We know that the comrades who reorganize the Communist Party of Peru and continue the people's war will see pictures of different campaigns around the world and that they will understand that they have friends in Sweden who will always stand by their side in the struggle for a classless society.“
Several Actions have been done in Brazil, amongst others a rally in front of the consulate of Peru in Rio de Janeiro. On this rally the Revolutionary Front in Defence of the Rights of the People (FRDDP), the Peoples Women Movement (MFP) and the Revolutionary Peoples Student Movement (MEPR) participated.
There was an event in Messias in the State of Alagoas as well as a rally and an event in Lagoa dos Gatos in the State of Pernambuco, organised by the Poor Peasants League (LCP). There, the role of Movadef and other capitulants was denounced, that take advantage of the opportunity of Chairman Gonzalo being completely isolated, to try to present him as capitulant, serving the plan of the reaction and the CIA, to annihilate him.
Additionally there were wall paintings made in Rio de Janeiro with the slogan “Defend the life and health of Chairman Gonzalo!”:
On 18th of March, at an event of the National Executive of Pedagogy Students (ExNEPe) of the university of Pernambuco in Recife, their participation in the campaign of the defence of the life and health of Chairman Gonzalo was shown by a banner.
Additional wall paintings were made in Colombia, the slogans on the paintings read:
„Long live Chairman Gonzalo, great leader of the people’s war in Peru!”
“Defend the life and health of Chairman Gonzalo!”
“Chairman Gonzalo: “The masses do and can do everything”!”
On a Demonstration in Mexico on the 27th of march, the comrades held a banner on which the Freedom of political prisoners, Chairman Gonzalo in Peru and Saibaba in India, were demanded. The comrades write: “Strengthen proletarian internationalism in our ranks and our struggles, especially by advancing the campaign for the defence of the life, health and freedom of communist prisoners in other parts of the world, like Chairman Gonzalo in Peru and comrade Saibaba in India!”
In the FRG, a rally was held in front of the embassy of Peru.
