Following the call of CEBRASPO several people gathered yesterday outside of the Mexican Consulate in southern Rio de Janeiro. Demanding the immediate presentation of Dr. Sernas (who was forcefully “disappeared” by the reaction in Mexico’s town of Oaxaca on the 10th of May) alive and well, a broad banner with the campaign slogan “Se vivo vocês o levaram, vivo nós o queremos!” (“Because alive he was taken, we want him alive!”) and the Hashtag “#DrSernasApresentaçãoComVida” (“#DrSernasPresentationWithLife”) was hoisted. Activists of the Revolutionary People's Student Movement (MEPR) and the People's Women's Movement (MFP) participated with flags and self-made signs.

The moves of the Armed Forces (FF.AA.) toward the step-by-step execution of a preventative counterrevolutionary military coup goes into many directions, but with the same goal.
On the one hand, they contribute to the militarization of South America, supporting the machinations and threats of the USA to the integrity of Venezuela. A concrete example was the undertaking of a war training operation in the Amazon jungle (Amazonlog) with the participation of Brazil, Peru, Colombia and USA and more “guests”, in November of last year.

Since May 10th our comrade Ernesto Sernas García islost. The comrade is a proven Fighter of the People. He is the one who defended the alleged leading comrades of the Mexican revolutionary movement against the claim of „terrorism“. He is known amongst the deepest and broadest masses of the Mexican people, especially in Oaxaca, as „our defender“.
Now an international campaign which demands the presentation of the revolutionary alive. The proletarian revolutionaries in the FRG are committed to execute actions to defend our comrade.

As part of the International Campaign for Presenting Dr. Ernesto Sernas García Alive we forward the call for the lecture that will take place in Mexico on August 30 marking the beginning of the International Campaign. We also forward a call for the International Academic Community and publish an unnofficial translation of the "National statement for presenting Dr. Ernesto Sernas García Alive" that was published on May.

We forward a video that was made in celebration to the retake of Enilson Ribeiro settlement that took place on April 2018. The peasants were expelled from the area by the landlords on August 26, 2016, after resisting a coward military siege imposed by police forces colluded with landlord´s henchmen for weeks. The video shows images of the siege made by the military, and also the attacks, including machinegun fire from a helicopter, but it also shows the high morale and resistance of the peasants, as well as images of the retake.
One day after the retake, on the First of May, the General Commander and the subcommander of the Military Police of São Miguel do Guaporé and one representative of the National Institute of Colonization and Agrarian Reform (Incra) from Pimenta Bueno were in the settlement to threaten the peasants. They were threatened to be subject of ownership repossession and arrest.
Ismauro Fatimo dos Santos was a supporter of the struggle for land on this area. He was murdered on July 22 by henchmen of the landlords near Enilson Ribeiro settlement and his daughter was seriously wounded as reported on an article we published.
The Bom Futuro farm is 11.500 ha big and is a result of illegal ocupation of public land by Augusto Nascimento Tulha, who is a former military medic.

On August 9, Elmer Audiencio Quispe Ríos was killed in an ambush by combatants of the People´s Liberation Army, which is led by the Communist Party of Peru. According to intelligence reports of the Air Force, the attack was carefully planned and even though search operations in the vicinity of Virgem de Ccasa in the district of Canayre in the province of Huanta (Ayacucho) entailed the assault no arrests were carried out.

Quinoa is considered in the imperialist countries as a so-called "superfood", because it is high in protein and has little fat. The rich enjoy the cereal in starred restaurants with truffles and other absurdly expensive foods. Petty-bourgeois organic fans feel especially healthy and hip when they pile quinoa on their plates instead of boring usual rice, which they then can post on Social Media.
