An alliance of various armed organizations of Myanmar's national minorities has carried out several attacks on state and infrastructural targets.

Recently there were protests in 12 Lebanese so called "refugee camps" under the slogan "Enough, we want dignity". Palestinians make up 10% of the Lebanese population. Palestinians are classified as foreigners, refugees or stateless depending on current government, regardless if they were born in Lebanon or not. Roughly 2/3 of them are considered to be extremely poor with a very high level of unemployment.

Last week, the US President Trump met with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in Washington and praised the alleged progress in the "peace efforts" in Afghanistan. He announced the further withdrawal of the US troops, emphasizing that Afghanistan was not a war, cause he could win a war within a week, but he didn´tt want to kill 10,000,000 people. How ever the reality looks very different.

In the first three weeks of July, there were several attacks against the imperialist occupiers and their lackeys.

On July 7, resistance fighters launched an attack on a police post, with a car bomb, in Ghazni in the center of the country. At least eight security forces were killed and many others injured in the action.

In a suicide bombing at a wedding ceremony in eastern Afghanistan, on July 12, the head of a pro-government militia was killed.

In two attacks in the cities of Qala-e-Naw in the province of Baghdhis in western Afghanistan and in Sayed Abad in Wardak, on July 13, south of Kabul, a total of five army personnel were killed, including one US soldier.

In Kandahar, also in the center of Afghanistan, attackers stormed a police headquarters on July 18 and detonated suicide bomb in front of the building. Two policemen were killed and others injured.

In another attack on a police post in western Farah, four policemen were killed and two wounded on July 23.

On July 24, a Croatian soldier was killed by a suicide bomb attack and two others seriously injured.

On July 25, a minivan, staffed with government detainees, was blown up with a bomb and two suicide bombers. Nine government employees were killed in this attack.

During the night of July 25 to 26, several police stations in the northern province of Takhar were attacked. The rebels killed 13 members of the Afghan National Police and 24 police special forces.

Taliban kill 37 Afghan policemen amid Dunford's visit

Peace or peace efforts look different. Although the US has been negotiating with the Taliban for a long time, the Afghan people will never accept imperialist occupation. And Trump is right, the US could win a war of exermination against Afghanistan within a week, but they would not mind. On the one hand, the Afghan government is a puppet regime of the United States, and on the other hand, a country without a population can no longer be exploited for the interests of the imperialists.

With great joy we spread the news on comrade Ajith, who has been set free on the 23. of July from Pune prison. It is still only a release on bail and we can expect more repression against the comrade, but for now, we share this image of him outside of prison:

Also in the last week, the People's Liberation Guerrilla Army under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) has carried out new actions in the People's War.

Revolutionaries from the People's Liberation Guerilla Army (PLGA), led by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) were killed by the Special Task Force (SRT) on the 6th of June between the villages Khallari and Mechka in the State of Chhattisgarh. One can assume that this attack was a "fake encounter" since no policemen were hurt or killed.

The central government of India, under the leadership of ultra-reactionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has set up and financed paramilitary groups operating in Bastar district in Chhattisgarh state. The information was published by the blog Correo Vermello.
