In the evening of June 2nd about 2500 people assembled near the Bremer city to show solidarity with the current struggles in the USA against the murdering of the Afro-American George Floyd, who was murdered in a brutal way a week ago by cops in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The demonstration, that was announced only a day before, denounced sharply the police violence against Black People in the USA. The protest was organized by refugees from Africa. At the same time the demonstration was against the opression of Black People in the FRG. For example against the refugee camp Lindenstraße in the north of Bremen, where the refugees are pent-up, against the chicanery and the violence by cops and racism and chauvinism against Black People.
