Today it was reported that the State of Israel has murdered Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, important part of the current National Resistance Front of Palestine. This morning the organization Hamas has announced this crime by the State of Israel. The murder has been done in a military veterans residence at the north of the capital, Tehran. The Palestinian leader was in the city because he attended to the swearing-in ceremony of newly-elected president of the country, Masoud Pezeshkian.

Haniyeh was seen as the highest political leader of Hamas and had a fundamental rol in the political leadership of the Palestinian Resistance, specially in the last national unity agreements against the State of Israel, signed by Hamas, PFLP, DFLP, Islamic Jihad, Fatah and other organizations which defined as points of unity, the foundation of an independent Palestinian State with Jerusalem as a capital, and to guarantee the return right for the refugees. This frontally collided with the interests of the Israelis and Yankee imperialism. Hence, it would not be strange to think that this attack has been an attempt with the particular target of attack the unity of the Palestinian resistance, which is a new obstacle against the Israeli and Yankee imperialism genocidal plans in the region.

This attack joins the long list of Israeli aggressions against Iranian targets and violations of national sovereignty of numerous countries: Lebanon is often attacked by the Israeli forces. In fact, this week the Israeli forces bombed Beirut and they caused injured. The attacks against Iranian targets have affected also other countries in the area: we already reported on the attack against the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria capital, which ended with the life of important leaders of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, which was a new violation of sovereign territory by the State of Israel.

So far some Israeli media, for example KAN, have reported that Haniyeh was attacked with a missile from outside of Iran and not in an attack from Iranian territory, which would serve the Zionists to cover themselves and try to get rid off the accusations of violation of national sovereignty of another country. On the other hand the Minister of Heritage of the State of Israel has stated that this attack “This is the right way to purge the world of this filth” showing what matters to the State of Israel the sovereignty of the peoples from Middle East.

AND reports that Sami Abu Zuhri, Hamas leader, “stated that the members of the Resistance are committed to pay any price which can be necessary for their struggle and Hamas will not be affected by the murder of any of its leaders”. Other Palestinian organizations such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Islamic Jihad Palestine, Fatah Al Intifada, Committees of People’s Resistance and the Mujahideen Brigades have condemned the attack and reaffirmed the will of the Palestinian Resistance to continue the struggle against the State of Israel. As well Hezbollah in Lebanon and Ansar Allah in Yemen have condemned the attack and displayed their support to the Palestinian Resistance.
