Tjen Folket Media reports on occasion of the 98 year anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Norway, that slogans were painted and flags with hammer and sickle were hung up in Oslo, Trondheim and Kristiansand. The painted slogans are for the reconstitution of the Communist Party of Norway and “Long Live Maoism!”
A statement from the editorial board of Tjen Folket Media was also published, the last section is translated (unofficially) below:
“(…) The NKP must therefore be reconstituted as a Maoist party, and it must simultaneously initiate people’s war for the socialist revolution in Norway and therefore the Party must also be militarized. For only this way can it lead its own construction and the construction of a people’s army and a revolutionary united front, simultaneously and in the middle of people’s war. These are teachings from the Communist Party of Peru and Chairman Gonzalo, teachings they themselves derived and proved in and through the people’s war in Peru. It is universal teachings that must be raised, defended and applied in all countries, without exception, also Norway”.
