The Alliance Against Imperialist Aggression (BgiA) called for a manifestation at Hamburg Central Station on 25 February to condemn the renewed massacres in Palestine and the bombardments by Israel. On 22 February, the Israeli army murdered 11 Palestinians in a military operation in Nablus in the West Bank. More than 100 other Palestinians were injured after strong resistance to this reactionary assault. Only day later, rockets from Israel were again flying at Gaza.
The approval of the masses at the Steindamm in Hamburg was great, as it had been in past actions. Masses from Palestine, Turkey and Iran unceremoniously joined the manifestation, gave short speeches and thanked the comrades of the BgiA for doing this solidarity work with the Palestinian struggle. Many others walked past the manifestation with their fists raised or shouted slogans for Palestine.
The situation in Palestine, where the repression and oppression by Israel is getting worse and worse, requires all internationalists and anti-imperialists to intensify the struggle here as well. For this, it is necessary to create a broad anti-imperialist front that can lead this support work for the struggles of the oppressed peoples.
