On Sunday, during protests against a U.S.-funded infrastructure project, the Nepalese people fought, partially intensely, against the reactionary police forces. The masses gathered in the capitol of Kathmandu in front of the parliament to enforce the withdrawal of the so called grants from the “Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC)”.

Back in early January, thousands took to the streets in Iraq as it marked the second anniversary of the assassination of Qassim Suleimani, Iran's highest general, by Yankee imperialism. At the protests, demonstrators shouted slogans such as "Death to the Americans" burned Yankee flags and carried signs demanding that the Yankees withdraw their forces from Iraq.

On 4 February, militants of the Communist Party of Turkey/Marxist-Leninist (TKP/ML) blocked a street in the east of Istanbul with firebombs. They hung a banner on the street that read "Glory to our 50 years of struggle, TKP/ML-TIKKO". This action is in the light of the 50th anniversary of the TKP/ML, which was founded by the great communist Ibrahim Kaypakkaya in 1972.

The Communist Party of India (CPI[Maoist]) had called for days of resistance in several districts on January 21 to 26 to mark the cowardly murder of three comrades in a fake encounter in the Karriguttalu forest area on the Telangana-Chattisgarh state border on Tuesday and to demand the release of a cadre of the party. In this regard, several actions were carried out against the old Indian state.
