After a trial that has been dragging on for more then a year now, Erdal has been sentenced on Thursday to spend five years in prison. Accused of having been the responsible of the area of Hamburg and Berlin for the DHKP-C in-between 2002 and 2013 he was convicted in accordance with the notorious §§ 129b („Support of a foreign terrorist organization“) that is regularly used to criminalize the work of Turkish activists. For Erdal, there have already been plenty of actions in the past, be it in Hamburg, country-wide or international, because despite the terror the counter-revolution is pressing upon him, he has not relented and continues to stand up for his political believes.

On the 19th of June, the 33rd Anniversary of the Day of Heroism, a Manifestation and a Presentation were held in Berlin. We publish this report only now, since we received it late because of tecnical problems.

Since Tuesday Dr. Banu Büyükavci, Dr. Sinan Aydin and Sami Solmaz are again behind bars. All three stand accused in the so-called TKP/ML trial which is, since a wave of arrests and raids in April 2014, being conducted by the German class judiciary. All three, although still on trial, had been released many months ago due to the disproportion of their imprisonment in the face of the court proceedings not actually leading anywhere. All of the three defendants have not abandoned their political work, but continue to be present at political events, such as the public event organized last year on occasion of their release from jail.

On occasion of the 19th of June Comrades in Freiburg have conducted remarkable actions in support of the People's War in India. In different actions banners with slogans such as „Long live the People's War in India“ and „Long live the CPI (Maoist)“ have been put up, a message of solidarity was given and a puppet in the likeness of Modi was set ablaze. All this can be found in a great Video of the comrades and in the complementary images that we henceforth document:

While preparations in France are currently ongoing for the culmination of the country-wide campaign in support of political prisoner G. I. Abdhallah and amidst the continued Yellow Vest protests, where the comrades are in the thick of the struggle, the Maoist Communist Party within the French State has now translated and published the first chapter of the Interview with Chairman Gonzalo. This Interview, often referred to as the Interview of the Centenary, was originally published in Spanish by El Diario eight years after the initiation of the People’s War in Peru and manifests a popularization of the politics of the Communist Party of Peru and particularly its first Congress. Comrades have now made a new and improved translation into French that is available in the Bibliothèque Marxiste and will be published chapter by chapter every Monday on the website of the PCM.

To further complement the initial report on the actions against the elections in the European Union, comrades from Finland have forwarded information on how the boycott campaign unfolded in their country.

We want to share a report published by the "Antifaschistische Aktion - Infoblatt" from Austria. It shows the very lively and various activities which have been developed in the campaign against the EU election.
