On the 16th of April, the Alliance against Imperialist Aggression conducted a manifestation in front of the Brazilian embassy in solidarity with the revolutionary peasant’s movement in Brazil.

The revolutionary peasant’s movement in Brazil is facing massive attacks by the old Brazilian state. In the state of Rondonia on the Hacienda Santa Elina, the old state is preparing a massacre through the military police. The unleashed repression, is necessary for the reaction. The revolutionary peasant’s movement, is taking big steps forward, and the great work of the comrades is a thorn in the eye of reaction. But the revolutionary peasant’s movement is not intimidated by the reaction and is taking up the struggle with heroism.

Therefore, various revolutionary and internationalist organisations from the FRG and Turkey gathered in Hamburg and expressed their full support for the comrades in the spirit of proletarian internationalism. Multiple solidarity statements were read and multiple slogans of the revolutionary movement in Brazil were chanted.

With this manifestation, a strong signal of solidarity was sent and it was shown that the revolutionary peasant’s movement in Brazil is not alone, but stands side by side with comrades from around the world. It is the duty of all revolutionary, anti-imperialist, progressive and democratic force to show solidarity and to denounce the crimes of the old Brazilian state, so there cannot be another massacre.
