In Freiburg, as every year, a large demonstration took place on the occasion of International Women's Day, which moved from Stühlinger Kirchplatz via Europaplatz to the Square of the Old Synagogue. In total, up to 3000 people took part in the demonstration this year.
A contingent of proletarian revolutionaries also participated in the demonstration. During the demonstration, some copies of the neswpaper Rote Post were sold and new contacts were made. Especially after the demonstration, some good conversations developed about the current state of emergency and the correct way to deal with the measures of the bourgeoisie.
At the end point of the demonstration there were still a few remnants of a "Querdenken" rally, including the reactionary and AfD politician Robert Hagermann. Part of the demonstration confronted the reactionaries present, who were escorted from the square under police protection. This also resulted in the arrest of an antifascist.
