Late last week, Israeli forces carried out another massacre of Palestinians during an operation in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank. Several members of the armed forces, dressed in civilian clothes, opened fire on a large street in the middle of the city. Videos of the incident show a man lying on the ground and then being shot in the head by one of the Israeli assailants - a veritable execution in the open street. As a result, two Palestinians were killed in the operation and at least 20 others were injured after putting up strong resistance to the occupation forces.

Norway
The Struggle Committee in Norway has published a new report over activities of the 8th of March that took place in Oslo.
At 17:00 on Grønland square a demonstration took place that held up the slogans: ”Combat violence against women!”, ”Long live 8th of March – international womensday!” – women – life – freedom”. Music was played and speeches were held.

On March 11 and 18, demonstrations were held in Wiesbaden and Frankfurt against the draft for a new assembly law in Hesse. Hundreds of people participated in both demonstrations. Progressive forces from the Rhine-Main area mobilized for both demonstrations.

Tjen Folket Media reports that the Struggle Committee in Norway has carried out actions for the 8th of March in Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Kristiansand, raising slogans against violence against women, imperialism and for a class line in the women’s movement. The activists distributed the Nordic Joint statement for the 8th of March.
