Mass raids in NRW right on time for the elections
With the pretext of combating “Clan Criminality” a series of raids was carried out in several cities in the Ruhr Area past Saturday, hitting cities such as Essen, Gelsenkirchen, Bochum, Wuppertal, Duisburg and Dortmund. Just as the electoral campaigns for the upcoming state elections in Northerhine-Westphalia on September 13 are starting, the State Government attempts to make a big fuzz about itself, with press releases and pictures during raids being a cornerstone in the political profiles of politicians such as NRWs Minister of the Interior Herbert Reul.

Nordic Report 4
NORWAY
Kristiansand. On 15.08, the so-called "Independence Party" held a manifestation to gather signatures in order to participate in elections. This party is a fascist party, and their so-called "criticism of religion" is just covered-up racism. The party was established by central members of the "Alliance" and "Stop Islamization of Norway", among whom several are convicted racists. These groups have contact to the fascists of the "Nordic Resistance Movement", ties to European fascist organizations and collaborate with the racist "Democrats" in Kristiansand. The Struggle Committee organized a demonstration against these fascists. Leaflets were distributed against the "Independence Party" together with water and face masks, and many stickers with the text "Nazi Free Zone" were put up around the manifestation. The Struggle Committee writes: "During the demonstration, the activists did a good job shouting slogans and were positively received by people on the street. The fascists talked to almost nobody and got extremely few signatures. It didn't seem like they were even trying. They practically sat still and looked dull, and also used the time to play a few levels of Candy Crush. After an hour, the police left and asked us to end the demonstration, because they didn't have the resources to protect anymore. The "Good Cop Tactic" they have used during the last two demos cracked up today, since they allowed the fascists to stand for five hours and limited our demo to just one hour. This annoyed both demonstrators and passersby, and only confirms what we knew before, that the police is on the side of the fascists".

TURKEY: The tourists come in, the people should stay at home
For many people in Germany, who have the privilege of living in an imperialist nation, a holiday in Turkey means a recovery from exploitation and oppression, and for not a few it means a holiday at home. For Turkey, tourism is an existential economic source of income. That is why the sector is preparing itself with considerable resources to ensure that foreign tourists can have as full a program as possible without losing hygiene. For example, on the 12th of August, Istanbul Airport was the first in the world to receive health accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI), the international federation of airport operators. This is a kind of confirmation that the airport guarantees sufficient hygiene measures to meet the requirements of the battered international aviation industry during the pandemic.

Brazil: Urgent! Peasants complete resumption of Santa Elina 25 years after the Battle
We hereby publish an inofficial and preliminary translation of a very important article on the peasants struggle in Brazil published by A Nova Democracia:
Below, we reproduce an article from the Resistance Peasant portal about the capture of the last lands of Santa Elina that occurred 25 years after the historic Battle of Corumbiara.
In the early hours of August 16, dozens of peasant families led by the League of Poor Peasants of Rondônia and Western Amazonia took the latifundio Nossa Senhora, the last part of the old Santa Elina farm that was still in the hands of landowners. These are lands where the Heroic Peasant Resistance of Corumbiara occurred 25 years ago.
