On March 21^st, the Alliance Against Imperialist Aggression called for a rally in Hamburg, Germany, against the imperialist mega-project of the Interoceanic Corridor (CIIT) to be built on the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. For this megaproject, poor peasants and indigenous peoples in the southern Mexican region are being displaced, terrorized and plundered. Under the slogan "The Interoceanic Corridor plunders and kills poor peasants and indigenous peoples in Mexico!" the rally denounced the crimes being carried out against the people, especially in the communities of Rincón Tagolaba and Santa Cruz Tagolaba.

Actions in support of the fight against the Interoceanic Corridor were also carried out in Baden Württemberg and Hesse. We document pictures that were sent to us.

Two soldiers of the Philippine Army were killed by rifle grenades detonated by New People’s Army (NPA). The ambush happened in Barangay Malangsa in Vallehermoso, Negros Oriental, 7:30 in the evening of March 15th. Two soldiers were also injured in the ambush.

Yesterday, March 20, 2023, at 6:00 pm, a rally took place in front of the Mexican Honorary Consulate in Düsseldorf. It joins a series of other actions in the FRG and internationally that support the broad resistance movement of poor peasants and indigenous peoples in Mexico against the construction of the so-called Interoceanic Corridor of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec (CIIT).
