On April 1, a rally of the "Mietenwahnsinn-Bündnis" ("Rent Madness-Alliance") took place in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. An avalanche has buried several families and killed several people in Alausí.

Beforehand, the inhabitants of Alausí had warned of the instability of the terrain and the possible consequences. The People's Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA), fighting under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), continues its actions in the People's War. The CPI (Maoist) organised a successful armed march in Sukma, Chhattisgarh on 18 March. The march was against and denounced the operations of the reactionary forces, especially against the indigenous people. This was done by demonstrating against four new camps of the reactionary forces that are under construction in the Konta region of Sukma. In 2022 alone, 20 new bases of the reactionary army were built in the region.
