At October 30th 5000 people goes on the street against the assembly law. This was the third big rally against the law. The protest was a union of many social groups like football fans, Union members and different democratic and revolutionary organizations. The anticapitalist-internationalist block took be part at the protest. On this block participate a contingent of proletarian revolutionaries from FGR and Turkey. The rally moves from Cologne city over the Rhine to Cologne Deutz and Kalk. The rally ended in a park in Cologne Kalk. The days for the rally the cops tell in bourgeois medias the possibility about riots from football fans and the leftist movement to have the possibility to attack the rally.
With the assembly law the bourgeois cut elementary rights for protest with rubber paragraphs like the “militant prohibition” the government want to criminalize combative protest. The assembly law can be a blueprint for other federal governments in the FGR. In 2018 the handling of the police law in many counties in the FGR is an example for this method. In this time many governments in the FGR establish new police laws. One country after the other. The reason for this handling was to impede a national wide movement against the cutting of rights.
The rally was accompanied of many actions like a big banner drop. On the banner stands the slogan “Fight the assembly law! We defend our rights” Many protesters welcomes the action and one person fires pyrotechnic . This was the reaosn for the cops to stop the rally and threat the block from this was the firing of pyrotechnic. Different revolutionary forces stands in solidarity with the block and stands in front of the cops and the provoke of the reaction goes to . At other moments the polices harass the rally for example at the beginning of the rally the cops catch six person from the Cologne ultas with shilds with the slogan “Reul 1 Pimmel” (Reul is a dick).1
The law is not publisg to this day and the reason is the fight of a big movement which under press the government. To the big rallies in July, August and October comes to little actions loke a spontnous rally in front of the house of Herbert Reul (interior minister). The police startet a big searching action with many cops and a helicopter to catch the protesters, but they catch no one. All this activities employ the internal committee of the the NRW government that the law can not be publish.
