On the 19th of January militants detonated a car bomb in a central district of Derry in front of the court building. In typical IRA style, an warning was issued by phone 15 minutes prior – hence only damage of property was made. In the current continuing debate on “Backstops” and “Hard-Border Brexits”, this bombing is a taste of what will increase many fold with the current course chosen by the imperialists in Europe.

For six years now, the imperialist intervention is running in Mali. For six years now, the country is occupied by various so-called Peacekeeper-Armies. However, these peacekeepers are nothing else than direct troops of the imperialists and their lackeys, whose aim is to ensure silence in the French semi-colony, which is rich in natural resources like gold. Since 2012, the National Movement for the Liberation of Azawad, a Tuareg movement, has been attempting to recapture its traditional tribal territory from the Malian government and proclaim an independent national state. Even in 2019, the anti-imperialist struggle of the Tuareg can not be broken.

In January as well, the PLGA under the leadership of the Communist Party of India (maoist) carried out several actions to advance People's War for the New Democratic Revolution.
Earlier this month, on January 5th, members of the PLGA raided a road construction site in the Bijapur district, conducted to make the rural areas accessible to police and military forces to exacerbate the repression on People's War and the people. The comrades asked a driver of a tractor to leave the vehicle and set it on fire and summoned the workers not to serve the old Indian state.
Two weeks later two police informers, which are responsible for the arrest of a member of the Communist Party of India (maoist), were shot by the PLGA at Garurbad village in Jamui district. They also left a pamphlet, calling the people not to collaborate with the reaction and the joint operation, launched by district police and Central Reserve Police Forces came to nothing.

In commemoration of our comrade Pierre, one the founding comrades of the Maoist Communist Party of France, a combative demonstration was held on Saturday, the 19th of January starting at the metro station Père Lachaise in Paris. Organized by French Maoists, the demonstration was lead to the wall of the communards, where a banner with the slogan “Comrade Pierre is immortal” was hoisted and speeches were held.

Our comrade, Ernesto Sernas García, has been missing since the 10th of May 2018. The culprit is the old state of Mexico which is struggling to keep up its bourgeois-democratic mask. Loyal to the practice it has taken as its habit, it has disappeared our comrade, because he had succesfully defended those accused of “terrorism”, bringing shame to the butcher state in its own justice theatre. He has defended the 23 servants of the Mexican people, who the enemy has named as leading members of the People’s Current – Red Sun and claimed that they have possessed explosives of the bourgeois-landlord army on the 7th of June 2015. Last Spring, when the case was reaching a turning point with evidence in defence of the imprisoned, the Mexican reaction employed its familiar method which it couldn’t do at the show trial.
