Hundreds of immigrants and Spanish youths protested violently on the streets of central Madrid, capital of Spain, in repudiation of the death of a 35-year-old Senegalese immigrant, which happened on 15 March. Mmame Mbage, who had been in Spain for 14 years, apparently had a heart attack due to a police chase. Demonstrators held more than four hours of protests that went throught the night of March 16, after which three bank agencies and also police vehicles were destroyed. There were burning barricades of the demonstrators through the streets. Facing the police with sticks and stones, the protest left at least 10 repression agents injured. Even by using rubber bullets the repression was not able to hold the protest and six young Spanish youth were detained.

Yesterday, 2000 people went out on Hamburgs streets, marching in the demonstration „United we stand“. Amongst them, also the comrades of the League Against Imperialist Aggression, who took part with a strong contingent. The demonstration was organized to denounce the reactionary manhunt following the G20 summit and was called for also in reference to the „Day of the political prisoners“, which the German Red Aid celebrates annually on the 18th of March.

On the 19th of February, Munich’s high court dropped the arrest warrants for four of those revolutionaries who stand accused in what came to be known as the “TKP/ML-Trials”. Presenting the current situation of the trials and speaking about their time behind bars, three of those recently released comrades participated in a celebrative and informative meeting organized by Partisan.

As various sources reported yesterday, an attack against the Israeli consulate was carried out in the night from the 27th of February to the 28th of February in the french town of Marseilles. Smashing all the windows of the consulate, activists denounced the Zionist occupation of Palestine and demanded freedom for the political prisoner Georges Ibrahim Abdallah.

Today the arrest warrants of 4 of the 10 accused in the TKP/ML trial were dropped. The Higher Regional Court of Munich put an end to the investigative custody, the revolutionaries still have to show up at the cops regularily and be present on the trial days.

Comrades in Stockholm announce to spread thousands of leaflets at the beginnig of school after winter regarding the topics "Down with Imperialism!", "Stop pinch!", "Increase student grants!" and "The school lies about Sweden!".

Last weekend yet again thousands of people went on the streets of one of Austria's biggest and most important cities. In Linz, a major capitol of industry, the estimated number of demonstrators was exceeded more then sixfold. Following the events of the Great Socialist October Revolution the finnish proletariat, starting on the 27th January of 1918, made a decisive grab for power, confronting the class enemy in force. On the 100th anniversary of this heroic attempt to free the finnish proletariat from it’s shakes, comrades in Finland's town of Tampere organized a lighting demonstration to celebrate it and rally new forces to the struggle.
