"All men are equal before the law," asserts the constitution of the FRG. But apparently members of the Bundeswehr's Special Forces Command (KSK) are more equal.

On International Women's Struggle Day there were also numerous demonstrations and rallies in France.

Already before, on the 5th of March, there was an unregistered spontaneous demonstration at a feminist demonstration in Toulouse. Despite a previous ban, the women and men decided to go through with the demonstration, which the police prevented with tear gas and violence. In addition, 43 people were arrested.

Against the partly fierce oppression of women in Turkey and the high level of repression against female political activists, strong actions were carried out again this year on 8th of March all over the country, and against the repressive measures of the Turkish state with the pretext of pandemic.

In Freiburg, as every year, a large demonstration took place on the occasion of International Women's Day, which moved from Stühlinger Kirchplatz via Europaplatz to the Square of the Old Synagogue. In total, up to 3000 people took part in the demonstration this year. 

On occasion of the Women's International Day of Struggle  various cities in NRW manifestations and actions took place. A detachment of proletarian revolutionaries participated yesterday in the manifestation in Wuppertal to which a wide internationalist alliance had called for. In the course of the day a banner with the slogan “Women forwards to the 8th of March” was hung well in sight in one of the proletarian neighborhoods in Essen.
