On September 28, 2021, the trial against TÜV Süd was opened at the Regional Court in Munich. The trial is supposed to clarify the responsibility of TÜV Süd for the collapse of the reservoir dam in Brumadinho in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, which caused at least 270 deaths, and whether TÜV Süd has to pay compensation to the victims.

We heard about, that at October 3th, so called „Tag der deutschen Einheit (Day of German unity/national celebration day) proletarian revolutionaries has carried out in the a mural at a school in the workers quarter Essen Altendorf. The slogan of the mural is “Death to German imperialsm!” and “Down with the Day of German unity!” On the left side there is a burning flag of the FRG and on the right side is a hammer and sickle.

For more than a week, students in Izmir and Istanbul protested against the continuous increase in dormitory costs. After Erdogan held a cabinet meeting on the issue, police in both cities attacked students on the eighth day of protests. In Istanbul, they even stormed people's dormitories in the process.
