Lithium, also called "white petroleum" is one of the most expensive and important raw materials of our time. It is indispensable for the production of smartphones and electric cars, the consumption and the demand for lithium increases annually. So far, lithium was mined mainly in the so-called "lithium triangle", (areas in Bolivia, Argentina and Chile) by imperialist investors.

We share this call to boycott the Quebec elections:

Boycott the Bourgeois Elections! Fight For Workers’ Power!

For the vast majority of the population, voting is useless. From one election to the next, the wealth gap continues to widen, attacks on workers are multiplying, the military budget increases, wars against the peoples of exploited countries carries on, indigenous peoples’ extreme poverty persists, and that, no matter the ruling party, whether right or “left”. The reason for this is very simple: under capitalism, despite universal suffrage, it is those who hold Capital—banks, industry, natural resources, trade, media, etc.—who decide. State and parliament, despite their democratic varnish, are in reality nothing but the apparatuses used by the bourgeoisie—the social class who owns the means of production—to maintain its domination on society. In Canada, this domination currently takes on the form of bourgeois democracy.

We want to call the attention of our readers to two video channels with revolutionary content.

Regarding the class combat of left and right lines in Germany and the incidents following May 1, 2018

It is the responsibility of revolutionaries all over the world to analyze contending ideological lines as internationalists, and we must take the position of combating centrism and rightism. In regard to the events that transpired on May 1, 2018, and the subsequent numerous statements, we have remained silent for too long. For this we are self-critical and seek to rectify this matter by staying abreast of the important struggles going on in the International Communist Movement and making our support clear and timely. In short we must learn to separate the revolutionaries from the revisionists and firmly support the revolutionaries. Both sides have made their documents available online for months, and it is through the careful study of these documents that we come to the following positions:

In support of the actions for Igor Mendes and the 23 activists, Partizan in Athens/Greece executed a solidarity action in the football game of AEK Athens against Galatasaray, which took place on the 31.07.2018. Igor Mendes was one of the participants in the student- and workers protest against the World Cup spectacle 2013 in Brazil. For Partizan he is our comrade and son of the Brazilian proletariat, which struggles bravely and decided for the interests of the oppressed peoples and the proletariat. He got sentenced for years of prison by the reactionary and rotten Brazilian State. A group of Partizan in Europe put up a banner for the game which took place in the Olympia stadium with the slogan „Free Igor Mendes! Fighting is not a crime!“ The group of Partizan was greeted by thousands of the fans in the so called goal-tribune with applause and antifascist slogans.

The group also put up a banner in Greek language with annotations to the fire in Greece in which dozens of Greek people died. On the banner it was written „This fire is in our hearts, our hearts are in struggle!“ The activist of Partizan resisted some reactionary supporter groups and got the support of antifascist fans in the organisation of these actions. The banner for Igor Mendes was put up in the stadium and the actions finished shortly before the end of the game. Partizan also announced they will organise more actions in solidarity with Igor Mendes and the 23 Activists and to increase the international solidarity with other befriended revolutionary democratic organisations.
